- Account Information: Your name, email address, and golf handicap index. We use secure "Magic Links" for authentication, meaning we do not collect or store passwords.
- Trip Data: Information you or your trip organizer provides regarding your golf trips, including dates, locations, flight details, lodging reservations, dining plans, and tee times.
- Expense Data: Ledger entries including descriptions, amounts, and who paid for shared trip expenses.
- Technical Data: We use essential cookies purely to maintain your active login session securely.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information strictly to operate the GolfTripHQ application. This includes:
- Authenticating your account via secure email links.
- Displaying your name and handicap to other members of your specific trip rosters.
- Sending transactional emails (e.g., trip invitations and login links).
- Calculating expense balances between you and your trip members.
3. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share your data only with trusted third-party service providers required to operate the app:
- Supabase: Our secure database and authentication provider.
- Resend: Our transactional email provider for sending login links and trip invites.
- OpenWeather: We send location data (City/State) to fetch weather forecasts, but no personally identifiable information is sent.
4. Data Security
We rely on industry-standard security measures, including row-level security protocols provided by Supabase, to ensure your trip data is only accessible to users invited to your specific trips.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to access, edit, or delete your personal information at any time. You can update your profile or delete your account directly within the application.
